when is lighting in the studio best?

The best time to shoot in the studio you ask? We have South facing windows so we get that good, good light (on a non-overcast day) the best time is between 10am-4pm.

During the am the hard light hits the West wall, 1pm it hits the cement ground the brightest hours in the studio creating a soft box in the studio.

By 2pm the hard light hits the west wall. We don’t have curtains installed but we do have a rollable 8x8 scrim that blocks the light.
